OFFICIAL HELMARK TRAINING

Learn the standard by applying it to real delivery decisions.

Training focuses on classification, verification, agent work, component criticality and evidence that supports real human review.

PRACTITIONER PATH

Accept AI-assisted work without outsourcing your judgement.

HDP turns the standard into task-level and pull-request-level practice.

You will learn to

  • classify work as NONE, ASSIST or CORE using real borderline examples;
  • apply LOW, HIGH and CRITICAL component criticality;
  • handle agent work as CORE and capture the required intent and constraints;
  • write short ASSIST notes and proportional intent descriptions;
  • design tests or scenarios that verify the intended behaviour;
  • perform real human review even when AI supports the review;
  • create an independent human verification criterion for CRITICAL work;
  • implement the minimum fields in Jira, GitHub or GitLab;
  • recognise cognitive debt and the intervention boundary.

Hands-on work

01

Classification lab

ASSIST vs CORE, generated foundations and agent-created changes.

02

Verification lab

Turn vague approval into evidence another engineer can understand.

03

Critical change lab

Build an independent human criterion from a non-AI source.

04

Workflow lab

Adapt the minimal Helmark fields to your delivery environment.

LEADERSHIP PATH

Make governance work without adding unnecessary delivery bureaucracy.

HDL focuses on rollout, enforcement, evidence and protecting system understanding across teams.

You will learn to

  • introduce Helmark into an existing SDLC without replacing the delivery method;
  • reuse or build component criticality mapping;
  • detect under-classification through sampling rather than surveillance;
  • design enforceable controls for CORE work and for ASSIST / CORE changes in HIGH and CRITICAL components;
  • govern scheduled and autonomous coding agents while preserving human acceptance;
  • operate Knowledge Anchors and the Cognitive Debt Signal;
  • use the intervention boundary to trigger rebuilding, mitigation or explicit risk acceptance;
  • prepare credible evidence for leadership, customers and audits;
  • move deliberately from L1 to L2 and L3 maturity.

Leadership simulations

01

Rollout design

Fit Helmark into an existing SDLC with minimum added friction.

02

Criticality map

Assign inherited risk in a way teams can actually operate.

03

Evidence review

Distinguish working controls from documentation-only compliance.

04

Boundary scenario

Respond when software works but nobody can independently judge AI-proposed fixes.

CERTIFICATION BADGES

Visible proof of Helmark capability.

Each training path leads to a distinct certification badge that can be used in internal profiles, learning records and professional materials.

Helmark Delivery Practitioner badge

HDP badge

Marks practitioner-level capability in classifying AI involvement, applying proportional verification and preserving human understanding of shipped code.

Helmark AI Delivery Lead badge

HDL badge

Marks leadership-level capability in rolling Helmark out across teams, maintaining control quality and governing AI-assisted delivery at scale.
